    • Kim Lyons is informed her grandmother, Elva Lyons, died and she left her the bar and house she owned. So Kim leaves her boyfriend, Simon, and heads for the Everglades to a small town named Cypress. Once there she discovers the town still hasn't forgiven her for her claims that she saw Winn McGregor's truck near the location of a woman who was killed. But she is determined not to let them get to her. But someone really wants Kim gone and will do whatever it takes.I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. T [...]

    • In a tale slightly reminiscent of the Hatfields and McCoys, families in Cypress, a town "tucked in the Everglades wetlands," have secrets, carry grudges and maneuver for revenge. Elva Lyons operates a small tavern and when she dies suddenly, her granddaughter, Kim, finds she has inherited the tavern and Elva's home. The pull to go home from Tallahassee is too strong even though she would be facing the same people she had testified against in a murder trial and she would be leaving her safe, stuf [...]

    • This book was part of Dangerous Dozen: A Romantic Suspense Boxed Set. I got a copy of it from Xpresso Book Tours in exchange of an honest review.I'll Be Watching You is my first book by Tina Wainscott. It did not impress me as much as I though it would. Romantic suspense is one of my favourite genres because it involves both a suspense/mystery and romance. It is a good mix of the two, which I found lacking in this book. The suspense part was very good and unpredictable, but the romance was prett [...]

    • I’ll Be Watching You is my first book by Tina Wainscott. It did not impress me as much as I though it would. Romantic suspense is one of my favourite genres because it involves both a suspense/mystery and romance. It is a good mix of the two, which I found lacking in this book. The suspense part was very good and unpredictable, but the romance was pretty meh!Ten years ago Kim testified against her stepfather in a murder case. Winnerow was a rich and influential man and a son of the Everglades. [...]

    • Really really enjoyed this book!!!!! It has everything, suspense, romance, tears, family feuds, laughter, awesome read that kept me up at night! I think one of the things I enjoyed so much, was that it was set in an area that I have not read about before with swamps, and gaters and mosquitoes and winders :) Good old fashioned rednecks!!!Kim left her Grandmother and her town after she stands up to some of the towns influential families and comes off worse for ware. When her Grandmother passes awa [...]

    • This book had a little bit of everything. I really enjoyed myself while reading this book. It really drew you in and connect with the character. I feel for her small town blues and the tragic events that bring her back to the small town she fled years earlier. It felt real and her dreams were not something so far fetched for someone from a small townKim is living with her unenthusiastic, less than mediocre "boyfriend" Simon when she finds out that her Grandmother Elva had died in a boating accid [...]

    • This is a story of Kim Lyons who went back to her home town of Cypress where she wasn't wanted because she said Winn had killed her father and Buck and Winn killed Rhonda. After her grandmother Elva died and left her the bar, Southern Comfort and her home, Kim went back and wanted to stay. She met Zell MacGregor whom she doesn't want to feel any attraction to him since he is Winn's son and the MacGregor's hold grudges. Zell doesn't understand his feelings of protecting the enemy. Kim starts to l [...]

    • First time reading this author and I loved it. Kim returns to her hometown after her grandmother dies. Zell owns a gator farm and his father was married to Kim's mother at one time. Ten years ago Kim accused Zell's father of murder but he was acquitted. Now she back to run her grandma's bar but someone wants her gone. When she starts digging into the past a lot of bad things start to happen to her. This kept me on the edge of my seat with suspense and sexual tension. Zell is a laid back guy and K [...]

    • I absolutely loved this book and Miss Wainscott earned herself a new fan.The story was not only riveting, but fun and exciting. The author literally paints pictures with words. Her descriptions are characterizations are very lush. I could feel the mugginess of the swamp, I could smell the beer at the bar, and I could perfectly picture Kim's grandma's house. If I could give this book six stars I would. It's the best book I've read in ages and I put my weekend on hold to finish it.I will definitely [...]

    • Living in South Florida, I found this story of Suspense, Drama, and Love very believable. It takes place in the Everglades were a very small knit community keeps secrets and covers for each other. You don't see a lot on the news about this area, were others like Naples and Fort Myers you do. Makes you wonder how many missing persons actually become gator food. Very Good Read. I recommend to all that likes a good mystery with some love thrown in.

    • I loved this book! You have this small town with all it's secrets. Kim came because her grandmother passed away and left her her home and bar. Kim doesn't have a great history with the town. Ell is caught between family and not letting a woman get hurt. I won't spoil the end but I kept thinking I had it figured out but I kept changing my mind. This book is an amazing read!

    • This was a great murder mystery, which I don't read too often. The characters were all intriguing and the writing was good. I didn't know "whodunnit" until the end, so that was nice. The romance was even well done too. Overall a great book.

    • A slow read that rushed the ending. Every character was a suspect except the little girl who was made to seem as if she would have the key to everything but her involvement kinda fizzled along with the story.

    • one of my best reads this year, just when you think you have figured things out then you're thrown off guard and left wondering again, I didn't want to put the book down. An excellent book and I highly recommended to other readers :-D

    • This was an interesting and intriguing reading. What you think happened, had not, and who you thought did it, neither. It kept me alive until the end. Nice!

    • I love it when an unexpected read turns into a brilliant one! Great storyline, kept me guessing all the way though. Definitely recommend!

    • Good read. Very entertaining and there were so many shady characters that you really weren't sure who the killer was until the end.

    • loved this book and couldn't put it down!! This book had twists and turns at every chapter. I would not have guessed the ending.

    • This wasn't my favorite by Wainscott but it was still enjoyable. I probably would have given it four stars, but when I tried to reread it earlier this year I couldn't get into it.
