    • I loved this book! Best in the series so far. Great job Sarah Woodbury, I was looking forward to this book since the third (forth with the prequel) came out, and you didn't disappoint! In this edition the story focuses on David and Lili, and Llywelyn and Meg. It starts out with David with his parents getting ready to take off to London to attend the wedding of William de Bohun. When Llywelyn seems to have a heart attack, luckily they are on a balcony with a 40 ft drop so Meg and Goronwy jump with [...]

    • On amazon:"November 1288. Bereft of a king or rightful heir, England hurtles towards civil war for the second time in a generation. When David, Prince of Wales, and his wife, Lili, travel to London to attend the wedding of William de Bohun and Princess Joan, they have no intention of involving themselves in local politics. But as infighting leads to murder, David and Lili find themselves at the center of a far-reaching conspiracy. • This is one of the best in the series.Meg takes Llywelyn to the future because he is having heart problems. MI5 hunts for them all over Wales and one of their agents ends up traveling back in time with them.David is having big problems back in England. There is some much intrigue going on, and he must figure it out all the players.

    • I picked all these up as e-books on amazon for a song. They are quick reads, enjoyable, and a perfect entertainment for a busy month. If you are a reader of historical fiction, time-travel, and fantasy, I believe you will enjoy them. Fast reads, one and all.

    • This is a wonderful series that is so exciting with how history could be changed if there really was time travel.

    • Phew! The continuing "if only" history of Wales has progressed to the point that it significantly changes the course of English history (since the two countries are so proximate and intertwined), and Wales has become what it and Scotland have always dreamed of being: an independent country of equal legal standing with England, Spain, and any other free country. You won't believe what follows as the logical development.

    • I found the first couple of chapters of this book to be slow and not very interesting, but once the plot got past the transit in time, it became very intreating. Sarah Woodbury's writing skills improve with every book, her earlier simple characters become more complex and her simple story lines become multiple parallel story lines weaving into richer plots.

    • great continuation to one of my favorite series. a nice happy, intriguing twidt at the end to keep you hooked.

    • Good but odd stylistic choiceWhile I'm still enjoying the series, I wonder why the author chose to write this in first person when most of the series is written in third person limited. This odd pov choice kept knocking me out of the story.I'm glad to see that traveling to the future like a personal get out jail free card is starting to have consequences for Meg and her family. Seriously. It was long overdue. The political intrigue is what keeps me interested and there is that in spades. And I'm [...]

    • Well, who knew what would come of travelling to a royal wedding? Looking forward to seeing how this plays out, now that it's diverging more and more from the history we know. I kinda like the theory that Arthur Pendragon was also a time traveller. At this point, I'm along for the ride, for sure. Don't know if I've just warmed to it, or if the writing really has gotten stronger since the first few books.

    • Another great continuation! This time we have a new adventure for Llywellyn and Meg while David deals with English plots and politics. The intrigue of court life is a perilous tightrope to walk and yet David seems to do it rather smoothly thought people still tend to die along the way. What I adored was the parallel storylines with Meg and Llywellyn in the future trying to thwart the plans and plots of the government.Truly great and a fantastic series.

    • Sarah Woodsbury outdid herself on this one. When I first started reading the series, I had no idea how complex the story could get. It is fascinating how people in less advanced civilizations might have twisted things to self fulfill prophesies, such as the Arthur legend. Although this is an obvious work of fiction, the flow of events is so believable, it almost feels like it could happen like this.I can't wait for the next novel in the series.

    • Love this series!I started reading her books starting with the Gareth & Gwen series and started the After Cilmeri series while waiting for the Gareth & Gwen series to release new books and have never regretted it. Sarah is one of my favorite authors! You'll love her historical fiction series. Truly worthwhile reading!

    • This is absolutely one of my favorite series. I love how the author rotates what view the story is told from. I have noticed that people go to medieval Wales and decide to stay but nobody ever goes to the 21st century and decides to stay. I am kind of puzzled by that but I still love this series and I intend to read them all.

    • Great Story! This was the best book so far in this series. I adore the characters, the intrigue, the loyalty, betrayal, and the family love. I encourage all who love medieval times and a touch of time travel to start at the beginning of this series. Thank you Ms. Woodbury for their great series!

    • Awesome. OMG this was so good. Time travel back to front focus AND historical what if unwinds. Fast paced and exciting. I devoured this in an evening. So glad I waited till the next book was out to read this one.

    • Out of all the books I've read in the series, this has been my favorite. The plot trudged right along and kept me entertained. The author did very well for this book.

    • Spoilers! This was a wonderful continuation of one of my favorite series! I really enjoyed how the Arthur myth has come full cycle for Daffyd. I cannot wait to read the next books in this series!!

    • This was probably my favorite book of the series. I enjoyed seeing the king in different circumstances and enjoyed the machinations around David.

    • Wow! That was goodExcellent continuation. I am anxious to continue with the story. I love a good adventure and this is continuing to one
