    • ***Copy kindly provided by author in exchange for an honest review***“I see you. I see you, Tripp. Your eyes. Your face. There’s so much more to you…”“But you don’t see yourself. Look at yourself.”Wow. What a deeply emotional book this was. Filled with incredibly intense moments and passionate characters, The Stronger, Safer Kind struck a deep chord in me. From the blurb, I thought the book would just be a mix between a love triangle and a rockstar romance, but to my surprise, this [...]

    • Two hot guys, how can a girl make up her mind!!!!This story was good, has issues. I loved Tripp. Couldn't understand the point of Scarlett doing what she did in the last chapter but that's just meGood read 3.5*

    • 2.5This is one of those WTF triangles that's so contrived I can't stand it. Please. Do not test my patience by doubting my intelligence as a reader. It's really a no-brainer. Either commit 100% to the drunk crazy H or avoid the drunk H until his week of crazy is over and, WITHOUT DOUBT, run the fuck away from the male BFF stalker. Jesus, why all the drama?!?!?It's like the college coeds that walk into the house-of-horrors. No one else in their right fucking mind would even consider looking at the [...]

    • I am so torn with how I feel right now. Scarlett has issues and has had horrible things happen to her. She leans on her best friend Andy and he is secretly in love with her. Then she meets Tripp sexy bad boy Tripp. He has his own secrets and hurts that he tries to deal with. He has had terrible things to face in his life and has a wonderful strength to him. I was torn because I like her with Tripp but my heart was breaking for Andy. Andy is such a sweet heart and has been her best friend, her ro [...]

    • Very surprised As the story developed I found that I could not put it down. If you liked reading Thoughtless you will like this one. The dynamics between the 3 main characters reminded me of Kellan, Kiera, and Denny. Worth reading.

    • Really enjoyed this book. I love how they came together to heal each others pain! Recommend this book for anyone!

    • The first book was about Trip, lead singer of DownCrash, and Scarlett a very broken and lonely person. Lonely only because she had no one who she could talk to about everything she has had to endure during her life. You would think she had a good thing going because she had her best friend and roommate Maggie and a guy who put Scarlett’s wellbeing above everything. Andy was the kind of guy any girl would more than happy to hook up with; he was tall, well built, smart, and very hot but mostly A [...]

    • *copy provided by author in exchange for an honest review*A tortured love story with a love triangle so intense it will leave you panting for more.Whew! *wipes brow* That was the most intense love triangle ever. Choosing between the damaged singing, guitar playing bad boy and the safe, romantic, caring best friend who's always been there proves to be no easy feat and I literally did not stop reading until I was all the way through. My mind is still reeling. I may sound a little crazy saying this [...]

    • Such a good book that is currently fee on so hurry and get the book. The story is about Scarlett and her two hot guys Andy and Tripp. Andy has been her best friend so for long and one weekend he finally tells her that he has been in love with her and wants to move their relationship to the next level. She meets Tripp, the hot, bad boy lead singer of the local college band.Scarlett has a secret that she holds very close to her heart and no one not even Andy knows and it’s the one thing that wil [...]

    • This book was one hot mess. We have a love triangle. I felt like Scarlett was leading Andy on and Tripp was just a hot mess and a drunk. I didn't feel anything other than sexual chemistry with these three. Scarlett was lead around by her hormone. She spends the night and hooks up with one only to go out to breakfast and make out with the other. What? I just didn't like Scarlett at all. And the end Oh its ok to kiss my band mates Um what? Yeah I think Ill pass on the rest of this series.

    • I loved this book. The storyline was great and the characters were really well developed. I was absorbed by the book and read it within a day. If you're looking for a quick read with really hot scenes but with a deep mysterious undercurrent to the story this is definitely worth a read.

    • A story about 2 broken souls who are attracted to the pain they both see in each other and a best friend who wants more. What's a girl to do?

    • Great bookry well written. Enjoyed the characters, the conflict and the romance. Ready to read book two:)). Would recommend!!

    • Love the conflict Such a great book. Scarlet has some serious problems so when Trip comes in her life it makes her feel free but Trip has his own problems Either way it was a great read.

    • I was given a copy of The Stronger, Safer Kind in exchange of an honest review.I really want to give this book 3.5. For me, 3 means that it was ok but I would not reread the book. As I would maybe reread if there is no other book left to read (never will happen haha), I can't give it a 3. But 4 is too high, for many reasons, so 3.5 it is.What I liked about this book: • The pace. It was a very quick book to read. • Non-sexual moments between Tripp and Scarlett like in the cemetery. Those were [...]

    • received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review"I feel bad for him, and sort of guilty. I know I'll regret feeling guilty. I'll fight it later in life and everyone will tell me not to feel guilty."The Stronger, Safer Kind is about Scarlett who is trying to move on with her life in college. She has been best friends with this guy named Andy and her roommate Maggie. She meets the lead singer of DownCrash, Tripp and boy do sparks fly. This was a typical new adult as there are adult [...]

    • The feel of his hand gave me a sense of freedom. He was everything wrong and I didn’t mind abandoning the right, at least for the moment.Scarlett has a secret. A secret that gives her nightmares, and that she has never been able to tell anyone. Until she meets a boy who has pain greater than hers, and he understands her darkness. He wants her to tell him EVERYTHING. What’s holding her back? Well her best friend, Andy, has professed his love for her. He’s really quite perfect, and he’s of [...]

    • The author lent me an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.Interesting story about two damaged individuals who recognize the pain in each other. You get lots of forewarning about Scarlett's bad history but it is still quite a surprise when the full extent is revealed. There is a lot of drama with Scarlett’s best friend Andy drunk admitting he is in love with her. Scarlett isn’t sure if she feels the same way about Andy and seems to mourn the loss of their friendship more th [...]

    • ARC given in exchange for an honest review I really enjoyed this story. The author knew how to keep you hooked and focused with the writing. This book has so much that happens in it but most of all to feel the emotions through out this book and all of them feel so real. This book will touch a place in your heart for both characters. Scarlett comes from a tragic past and still has nightmares from it. She is doing her best to move on and not let her past get to her. She has her best friends Maggie [...]

    • If I could give half stars, I would have gave it 3.5. While I really did like the book, the only thing keeping me from giving it any more stars is Scarlet. She annoyed the crap out of me. Tripp was loveable with all his faults. Even if some of the stuff he did or said was stupid- he was honest with himself. He knew who he was. Scarlet on the other hand was all over the place. I love Tripp but I'll kiss Tatum I love Tripp but I'll mess around with Andy (I don't care about the circumstances either [...]

    • I wont say much thats already been say many times, yes its a love triangle with secrets one each corner,Dark secrets that wont be reveled until towards the end of this story. Besides the triangle there is one young woman, Scarlett, that has seen shameful events that happened in her childhood that she kept hidden from everyone around her. Her best friend Andy, a boy she know in high school is a ties to her shame, and brings up painful flashbacks. Unlike the lead singer of Down Crash, Tripp, with [...]

    • I liked the book but I didn't loved it. Scarlett has gone through pretty bad moments and I understood the things that kept her away from her best friend, there were some actions I really didn't agree with her way of doing them, as well as leading other characters on, but I liked that she was pretty decisive and forward when the time came, specially when she said she didn't regret things that happened because they allow her to truly know how she felt. Tripp was a nice, troubled, character and I t [...]

    • I have the book where all three books are in one. This book was just to serious with no real story to it.It was intriguing yet boring. It would give u a taste of conflict with no real confrontation. U have Andy that is a hunk a hunk hunk that would do anything for her. She realizes he has more the friend feelings. She meets Tripp and bam her heart comes alive. Then from what Maggie says: she goes from study girl to down right going out drinking kinda girl within a span of a few days of meeting trip [...]

    • Scarlett is this pretty girl that has to amazing hot guys chasing after her. Both want her bad. Andy is this amazing good guy. He has been friends with Scarlett for so long. He was there for her in her dark times though he did not even know the half of what she went thru. He even followed her to college. Andy was a protector and was on his way to having a amazing career as a lawyer. Andy had his whole life a head of him and would give it all up in a heart beat for Scarlett. Then there was Tripp [...]

    • This was on my kindle and having no recollection of when I purchased decided to give it a go . This is me trying to clean up my tbr shelf. Just dive in, and I did. The Stronger, Safer Kind, in fairness was a 3.5 book and I read it pretty much in one sitting. I found a few errors but nothing that took away my reading enjoyment. This is a bit of a love triangle and some major emotional issues. It checks all the boxes of a NA romance, steamy sex, crazy, confused, college kids, and a hot boy in a ba [...]

    • The book was good and I liked the characters. I thought it was a bit too fast paced and I wasn't sure I liked the conclusion of Scarlett and Tripp's story. Also, I didn't think Scarlett's secret was handled great, but this may all be because I felt enough emotion and detail wasn't put into the entire story. I mean, after reading the whole book, I still have no idea what Scarlett looks like; no hair color, style, eye color, etc. was given. Even Tripp just had dark eyes. I'm a visual reader so I p [...]
