    • Tali's family moves to the "witch house" across the street from a hot boy named Nate; however, Tali can tell from a distance that he has sad eyes and he's hiding something that hurts him deeply. Of course, they begin to see each other and Nate's deep dark secret holds him back from fully giving to Tali, even though he really cares for her.I don't want to say too much more about it, but each of them has a younger sibling and they are about the same age. They are so cute and, as most younger sibli [...]

    • "The sorrow in his songs, the deep sadness in his beautiful eyes… she can feel Fate pulling her to him." That's the line from the synopsis that drew me in. I needed to know his story. Then I needed to know hers. Tali, short for Taliesin, was living in Texas, getting ready to start her first year in college in the fall when her dad bought an old house in Pennsylvania and up and moved the entire family. Tali had the option to stay behind, as her father had done this in the past: bought an old fi [...]

    • Audiobook - Narration, Tricia DiSandroI would rate her as a good - OK, her characters tend to sound a little angry or annoyed, but good, clear narration.I've read a ton of books and I think because of that, there were several themes that rang familiar to me. I enjoyed it and listened to the entire story, but I didn't feel a real connection to the main characters of Tali and Nate. I enjoyed the bits with the little brother and sister probably the most, but just couldn't bring myself to experience [...]

    • *I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*Tali has been constantly uprooted and moved around most of her life. Her dad flips old houses for a living, this time they end up in Pennsylvania for who knows how long. Moving in, she catches sight of her neighbor who is definitely attractive, but looks extremely sad. When she finally talks to him young love has sparked. Nate and Tali seem to be meant for each other, but Nate is keeping a secret. Secrets can build and build u [...]

    • Very well-written story. Kept me engaged and turning page after pageuntil I was completed with the story way too soon. Very realstic book with emotions of love and regret being very well represented. After moving yet again, Tali finds herself in a new location with another house she will live in while it is transformed by her house-flipping father. While driving in that first time, she spots a guy about her age and is instantly drawn to him. She continues to enjoy him from her window, as he is o [...]

    • Tali, short for Taliesin, was living in Texas, getting ready to start her first year in college in the fall when her dad bought an old house in Pennsylvania and up and moved the entire family. Tali had the option to stay behind, as her father had done this in the past: bought an old fixer-upper, moved the family to it, and dove right in on his new project. But Tali opted to go because she knew her younger brother would be lost, have to start over finding new friends, and had a difficulty with ch [...]

Tali and Nate were just so freaking amazing and they made it so easy to fall in love with them. Jennifer Melzer brought this story to life with her exceptional writing. I am definitely going to be reading more of her work in the future.Tali has an amazing family and a relationship with her father that made me smile quite a bit. I think the family parts were [...]

    • A classic Young Adult romance with all the intensity and angst of young loveNate and Tali are drawn to each other; from the moment Tali spies Nate from her bedroom window, sitting on his doorstep playing his guitar and singing, she is smitten and it isn’t long before they become a couple. However, Nate hides a secret that haunts him, and which he feels will drive Tali away forever if she learns of it. He fears losing her and hurting her all at the same time, compounded by the confrontational b [...]

    • I really enjoyed this audiobook. The book is based on two young adults, one who had just graduated highschool and the other a year older. I really enjoyed the characters especially Tali and how mature she was about handling situations, usually characters her age annoy me at times. I loved that both Nate and Tali were nerdy with their video games and shared the same interests but they also had lives outside of the games.I really enjoyed the Epilogue, it was predictable but I knew when the book en [...]

    • I really enjoyed this book, I would consider it young adult. It's about fresh starts, learning lessons, trust and finding your inner self and strength. I would recommend this to friends and family ages 15 and up. The story was very easy to follow and flowed smoothly. Once I started I didn't want to put it down.

    • What a great story! I love Tali and Nate! This is a wonderful story. I laughed and cried and fell in love. Super easy read and extremely well written. I could not put it down! Tali moves around her entire life, Nate has a dark secret and when they come together they are fantastic! Well worth the time to read!

    • 3.5 starsEnjoyable YA romance with a HEAI consider it YA because the characters 18 to 20 years old. You never know how your actions or words will really affect someone. Hind sight is 20/20 as they say.Nate is dealing emotionally with the consequences of actions he regrets. While he has changed from the person he was, he has mostly withdrawn from everyone. Until Tali moves in across the street. While they have issues in their relationship, I really liked how mature Tali was. Not that she didn't ac [...]

    • 3.5 stars.* I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.*The reason I wanted to read this book, was because the title and the cover, of course.I really enjoyed the whole plot in the book, at first I was a really confused and though I wasn´t going to like it, however as the book went, I started to fall in love with Nate and Tali.Nate was extremely complicated and different to any guy, I wasn´t sure I liked him at first but when he starts hanging out with Tali I completely [...]
